Former Geelong premiership star James Kelly has been spotted at Essendon's HQ in Tullamarine this morning.
Kelly is a good chance to revive his career at the Bombers after he was delisted by the Cats at the end of last season.
The Bombers signed former Fremantle midfielder Ryan Crowley late last night, with the 188 game veteran the first top-up player the Bombers have signed since 12 of their senior listed players were banned for taking a prohibited substance.
Former Brisbane Lions midfielder James Polkinghorne was also spotted at Bombers training this morning, although it is unknown whether he is training as a part of the VFL squad.
Polkinghorne won the club's VFL best and fairest last season after a stellar year that saw the Bombers reach the preliminary final last season, before going down to eventual premiers Williamstown by 12 points.
