Essendon face a nervous wait on Monday as the AFL's match review panel assesses incidents involving Mark Jamar and David Zaharakis.
Jamar caught West Coast defender Jeremy McGovern in the face with a swinging elbow in last Thursday night's heavy loss in Perth, while Zaharakis launched a round arm punch to the stomach of Jackson Nelson.
"I asked the players if they felt better after those incidents and giving away a free kick against their teammates," coach John Worsfold said.
"You can imagine the response I got. We got beaten in that area of discipline and mental toughness and that's disappointing.
"They're more senior players so that's a bit disappointing."
Jamar appears set for a stint on the sidelines regardless of the MRP's findings after he suffered a hamstring injury.
In other incidents from round 15 action, Carlton's Dale Thomas can expect some scrutiny after he made high contact with Collingwood's James Aish during his side's 12-point loss at the MCG on Saturday night.
