Essendon is reportedly interested in luring Brisbane Lions small forward to the club, using the club's first pick in the pre-season draft at the end of the year.

Channel Seven's Tom Browne says the Bombers are prepared to offer the out of contract small forward around the $400,000 a year mark.

The 23 year old has played just six games this season, but was one of the club's most prolific goal-kickers before this season, managing to kick 24, 33 and 25 goals during 2013-2015 seasons.

The Bombers are keen to bring a small forward to the club given their need to find goals, having struggled in attack over the past few seasons.
